Spotted Trunkfish
Lactophrys bilcaudalis

Spotted Trunkfish have a bony shell for a body, which helps to protect them from predators.  But their odd shape and rigid body makes them poor swimmers compared to streamlined fish.

Bonaire, Dutch Antilles

Sea Facts:

The longest fish in the oceans is the Oarfish.  It has a horse-shaped head, and its snake-like body can extend over 50 feet in length.
