Painted Greenling
Oxylebius pictus

Painted Greenlings are common to the Pacific Coast, ranging from Baja to British Columbia. Though rarely exceeding 6 inches in length, the males make aggressive fathers and will even attack intruding scuba divers when guarding their eggs.
